More than 28 million people are fighting for their lives in Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan and Kenya. It is the worst hunger crisis in living memory.

The crisis in East Africa is caused by a deadly combination: climate change, conflict and exorbitant costs of living. Already, many lives have been lost and millions are at risk of starvation.

World leaders have done too little to prevent the crisis - despite promises to fight world hunger. It is still possible to prevent widespread hunger if we act now.
